Q. Where are you located?
A. We are located in Broward County, only 5 minutes from Weston Commons Shopping Center.
Q. Do you have a storefront?
A. Not yet, but we are working towards it.
Q. Do you deliver?
A. Yes. Delivery is available for $15.00 within 10 miles from the Weston Commons Shopping Center; additional charges are applied once we leave this limit. Please, contact us for specific delivery charges and locations. Orders may be also picked up at the Weston Commons Shopping Center in the parking lot area. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide an appropriate means of transportation for cakes that the customer is picking up. Yummy Dessert Bites is not responsible for any damages once the cake has been picked up.
Q. How far in advance should I place an order?
A. We recommend placing your order no later than 2 weeks in advance. We take orders by phone only. Please, do not wait until two days before or the day of your event to try and place your order as we do not have any pre-made cakes for sale, all cakes are made fresh for every order.
Q. Do you have a minimum order for your cakes?
A. Our minimum order for cakes is $75.00. For other products, please visit the Menu section.
Q. How much are your cakes?
A. All of our cakes are custom-made and individually priced based on number of servings, complexity of the design and fillings and flavors you choose. Certain design elements such as sugar flowers, sugar figures, pearls, fondant bows, hand painting or detailed fondant work are an additional cost. Please, contact us via e-mail or by phone to get a price quote.
Q. Do you require a deposit?
A. All orders require a 50% deposit at the time of the order. Balance is due in full at time of delivery or pickup. Last minute orders must be paid in full at the time of the order. We accept cash, PayPal or Credit Cards (Visa and MasterCard). Remember, if you have not placed a deposit, your order is not placed yet!
Q. Do you make 3D/ shaped/ sculptural cakes?
A. No for the moment.
Q. Are the numbers, flowers, bows, figures or other design elements on your cake edible?
A. Those elements are made out of gumpaste which is edible but generally very hard since it is dried in advance.
Q. What is your refund/cancellation policy?
A. Changes and cancellations can be made up until 5 days before the order is to be delivered or picked up. If a cancellation is received less than 5 days prior to your delivery or pickup date, your deposit will be non- refundable.
Q. Do you ship your products?
A. We regret that we cannot ship our products at this time.
Q. Do you offer cake tastings?
A. We do not offer cake tastings at this time.
