First thing I would like to say: I LOVE SWEETS!

I developed a love for cooking as a child. As I young girl, I was always reading my mother's cookbooks and collecting recipes for the dream I had to become a chef. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I took some cooking and baking classes during high school and started making cakes and cookies for my family. After finishing high school, I was unsure what path to choose: cooking vs. an accounting degree. Well, I went to college and finished a Master's Degree in Accounting and became a successful professional in my area. During those times in college, I remembered always dreaming about having my own bakery shop. Though I love cooking, my passion is baking. I think because of my personality I love the idea of decorating and being creative, these are the good things about baking.

Years have passed by, I moved to Miami and still had that passion for sweets baking in my heart; so I thought it was the time to decorate my dream and Yummy Dessert Bites was born. Honestly, I can spent hours in the kitchen just baking and decorating, creating or trying new recipes, I love it!

I would like to thank God for giving me the power to believe in my passion and pursue my dreams, I could never have done this without the faith I have in him. To my mother, for sharing with me her love of cooking and be my best teacher. And last but not least, to my husband for his love and support.
